Schweitzer for President?

What is with the Democrats these days? Are they really that hard-up for a candidate in 2008?

Schweitzer may be ready for the corruption that comes with the top job. His promises to the Indians of Montana seem to be falling short in the legistature . His campaign fund raising has left the state with unanswered questions and he seems to just resonate with Montana pride on CNN.
He seems to have a reason to bring home some of the troops.

He is followed by a lot of Republicans trying to tear him down. He is beginning to be revered by Democrats. Moderates will tell you to stand by and see what he does in his office as Governor before going one way or the other.
I say, the Republicans better come up with someone great to keep the GOP in the White House, the Democrats had better come up with someone period and the Moderates need to come up with a decision on weather they are Right or Left.
The appeal of Governor Schweitzer is that he is the anti-Schwartzenegger, one is a Republican in a "Blue" state the other is a Democrat in a "Red" state.
Speaking of Red and Blue, I have a feeling that Montana will be an island of Blue in a sea of Red in 2008. My only concern is that they may vote for Queen Hillary. Her strategy is coming together quite well. She has already gravitated towards the middle in the view of her own party.
I have a theory that she might be causing all this hype behind Schweitzer. What better way to ensure the votes than by running against a hopeful from (excuse me here) some hick state. The media is already dealing the cards for 2008. Don't be fooled by the dirty dealing.
